Would you like to make your fine art for sale, or know the value of what you have? Then you probably need an art appraisal. Junzi Fine Art is here to help you.
Marketing and selling art work is a delicate trade that requires numerous years of experience and the ability to know how to handle fine art pieces. All appraisers on the Junzi Fine Art team have over 20 years of experience and are able to abide by the strictest professional standards. Our staff has been rated very highly in terms of adhering to the ethical standards described in the “Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice”. These standards were developed by the American Society of Appraisers and they are taught as an accredited program through the UC School Program. This is just one of the many reasons as to why our clients trust us with even their most delicate fine art.
It is our privilege to work with customers with varying backgrounds in the art industry. Whether you are curious about a piece that has been handed down through your family over the years; or if you have a strong knowledge of art but still require a professional opinion, we are here to help. We also offer general consultation and valuation services to help give you an idea of the art that you have in your possession and its worth. Other beneficial services that we are proud to offer include: art research, advice when purchasing including market analysis & monitoring, donation advice, insurance coverage, and estate tax.
The reputation of our business is what helps us to work with the most illustrious clients possible and we uphold our promise to be completely honest and accurate with our findings. Not only is this one of the most prominent points discussed in the “Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice” but it is also our company philosophy.
We understand that every client is different as every piece of art is unique in its own way. Each assignment that we have will get its own due diligence to make sure that we treat the piece above industry standards. This helps to make sure that our clientele receives unbiased and objective valuation; as well as reliable and reputable information about the artwork. Before we begin on a project, our client will be kept up to date with any conditions that could affect the appraisal, and we expect them to extend us the same courtesy. Without truthful information, it can be difficult to provide an accurate appraisal and could force the valuation to be voided
We will also work with the client to discuss the structure of fees, scheduling of the work, and reviewing the appraisal date before the assignment is accepted. At the conclusion of the appraisal, the client will receive a report that outlines the gathered research and the final opinion of the appraiser.
